Happy Accidents (with correct photo)

This is the correct photo to show the effect of the watered down Aladdin IndigoBlu English Cottage Garden paint on watercolour paper and then covered with crumpled clingfilm. Fabulous effect but not captured by the photo unfortunately Happy Crafting love Su xxx

  1. Hi Su, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a lovely comment on my blog. It's great to see you experimenting with these fabulous paints and I love the results! You asked about my 'verdigris' recipe. It's so easy and all done with English Cottage Artist's Acrylic Paints! Dab Townhouse Teal onto card with the black foam side of some Phat Foam and dry. Repeat with Peppermint Tea, making sure some of the teal still shows through. Finally repeat with Goldfinger. The more randomly you apply the paint the better the effect. Now you can stamp on it, die cut it, tear it into strips, whatever you like! To make it even more aged blend a little brown ink to the edges. Hope that helps and you get some time to give it a whirl. For now have a fantastic Christmas and a creative New Year. Jenny x
